Story of PSG
PSG is one of the earlier companies to operate a Hot Dip Galvanising plant in Malaysia, it was founded by the then Sapura Group of the 1980s. After a few years of operations, its management decided to pursue other business interests and was looking for a buyer. With a sense of business foresight, luck and risk taking, the deal was sealed and the plant together with its staff and assets changed hands to the present day owner Mr. Eddy Ng. Since that fateful day in 1992, he has never looked back. The Managing Director believes that the business can only grow as the galvanised steel per capita of Malaysia is still relatively low as compared to many developed nations, he also believes that the Hot-Dip Galvanising business will be here to stay as it is still the most cost effective way to protect steel assets that will last for many decades without the need for costly maintenance. PSG is a ISO 9001:2015 certified company.
